How can this seem like fresh, essential, unfamiliar advice all over again when I read it less than a year ago? Maybe because I’m older than you, with fully grown kids, and my memory is shot. Great post, Caitlin! Mothers who write are superheroes!
PS my babies taught me to write when I could, in short spurts. I was disciplined because I was desperate. Then they got older and easier, and I got lazier. Be warned! ❤️
I love this post! I don't know how I got any writing done when my twins were babies, but I did, and it was essential to my mental health...now they are older and it still feels impossible but it DOES GET EASIER

I think this is also why I'm enjoying having a "day job" again - because I have less writing time, so I make more of it!
